Known as one of the top five spots for superb scuba diving, the British Crown colony of Cayman Islands, located 500 miles south of Miami and west of Cuba, is made up of a chain of three coral-covered islands: Grand Cayman, Little Cayman, and Cayman Brac. The largest island, Grand Cayman, where this resort is located, ranks as one of the most prosperous islands in the Caribbean. George Town, the country’s waterfront capital, offers museums, duty-free shops, and submarine sightseeing rides. Cayman is considered one of the top five dive locations in the world. The wall dives off of Grand Cayman are world renowned. The resort dive shop, Tortuga Divers, has wall, deep and shallow dives daily. On these dives, you can see barracuda, sharks, rays, moray eels, turtles, and millions of brightly colored tropical fish. It’s quite an experience!
