Originally built in 1865 as the offical residence for an English magistrate, Oinako Lodge was rebuilt by a French settler after a fire in 1895. Historic features include the spacious entrance hall with open fire and sweeping French staircase, marble fireplaces, ornate plaster ceilings and cornices. Furnished in keeping with the architecture, Oinako now incorporates modern amenities and luxurious contemporary touches.
