Peter Rippin, Hannah Shaw and the lodge team welcome you to Lake Rotoroa Lodge. Situated on the edge of the Nelson Lakes National Park, the lodge strives to combine comfortable, elegant accommodation with truly magnificent surroundings. Built in the 1920’s, the lodge has been carefully restored to recapture the style of a bygone era combining a warm and friendly ambience with the highest standards of personal service. We will do our best to ensure that your stay is comfortable and memorable. Lake Rotoroa Lodge has a well stocked cellar highlighting New Zealand wines along with a selection of imported ones. Our comfortable bar offers a wide range of beers, spirits and non-alcoholic beverages. These can be enjoyed whilst absorbing the unique view from the adjoining sitting room. Our dining room looks out over the calm, clear waters of Lake Rotoroa to the snow capped mountains beyond - a superb backdrop for what we endeavour to ensure is one of the country’s finest dining experiences. Whether you are here to fish for our legendary brown trout, to raft the local white-water, horse ride, trek through the mountains or paddle a kayak around on the lake the Lodge is ideally located. Please treat the lodge as your home away from home and always tell us about anything that we can do to make your stay more comfortable.
