The iron stove set into the massive stone hearth lends a rustic charm in piquant contrast to the computer.

For those who can’t leave work at home, or want a quiet retreat to concentrate on a special project, there is a Sony Vaio computer with Windows ME and Office 2000 in the apartment, a separate modem line, and a fax machine.
